Calgary Stampeders sign former Utah State QB Logan Bonner

The Calgary Stampeders signed former Utah State quarterback Logan Bonner on Monday. Logan Bonner is six foot one and weighs 230 pounds. The 25-year-old from Rowlett, Texas, recently attended rookie mini-camp for the Indianapolis Colts.

Bonner began his collegiate career at Arkansas State (2017-2020) completing 156 of 262 passes (58%) for 3,166 yards, 30 touchdowns, nine interceptions, 66 carries for 62 yards, one touchdown, and two catches for 54 yards in 24 games for the Red Wolves. He was an Honorable Mention All-Sun Belt Conference and Third Team All-Sun Belt Conference in 2020.

After the Red Wolves, Bonner transferred to Utah State in 2021. He played two seasons completing 325 of 539 passes (60%) for 4,381 yards, 42 touchdowns, 20 interceptions, and 81 carries for 83 yards for the Aggies.

In his final season, Bonner completed 62 of 110 passes for 753 yards, six touchdowns, eight interceptions, and 12 carries for 17 yards in four games. Bonner was named Mountain West Championship Game Offensive MVP in 2021 and Academic All-Mountain West in 2022.
