The Montreal Alouettes released offensive lineman Jakub Szott and running back Taku Lee on Tuesday.
Jakub Szott is six foot five and weighs 305 pounds. The 24-year-old from Toronto, Ontario, signed with the Alouettes in October 2022. Before Montreal, he played 14 games for the Redblacks last season.
The Redblacks drafted Szott in the fourth round (29th pick) in the 2020 CFL Draft from McMaster University. Szott played 37 games in four seasons with the Marauders from 2016-19.
Taku Lee is five foot eleven and weighs 205 pounds. The 28-year-old from Japan played four games for the Alouettes in 2021 with two kick returns for 48 yards. The Alouettes drafted Lee in the third round (24th pick) in the 2021 CFL Global Draft.
