The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed former Minnesota defensive back Justus Harris and Hampton University defensive lineman KeShaun Moore.
Justus Harris is five foot ten and weighs 184 pounds. The 24-year-old from Roswell, Georgia, attended rookie minicamp with the New York Giants in 2022.
Collegiately, Harris played five seasons at the University of Minnesota (2017-22) with 71 tackles (45 solo, 26 assists), four tackles for loss, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and one blocked kick in 49 games for the Gophers.
In his final season, Harris made 31 tackles (21 solo, 10 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 13 games. He is a four-time Academic All-Big Ten.
KeShaun Moore is six foot two and weighs 279 pounds. The 23-year-old from Suffolk, Virginia, attended rookie minicamp with the Indianapolis Colts in 2023.
Collegiately, Moore played one season at James Madison University in 2018 with 28 tackles (12 solo, 16 assists), three tackles for loss, and one sack in ten games for the Dukes.
Then, he transferred to Hampton University (2021-22) with 106 tackles (53 solo, 53 assists), 24.5 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, one interception for 15 yards, three pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 22 games for the Pirates.
In his final season, Moore made 58 tackles (27 solo, 31 assists), 11 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 11 games. Moore was named Second Team All-Big South Conference in 2021 and Second Team All-CAA Conference in 2022.
The Roughriders also released defensive lineman Kyshonn Tyson. The 23-year-old from Detroit, Michigan, signed with the Roughriders in February. Before Saskatchewan, he played for the Michigan Panthers with 21 tackles and three sacks in seven games in 2022. Michigan drafted Tyson in the 26th round of the 2022 USFL Draft.
Tyson attended Loyola High School and earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior. He began his collegiate career at Grand Valley State in 2017 but redshirted.
He left Grand Valley State and transferred to Garden City Community College in 2018. He made 42 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in 11 games for the Broncbusters.
In addition, Tyson played for a semi-pro football team called the Detroit Ravens in 2016. He helped the Ravens win the National Championship and was named defensive MVP.
