The Ottawa Redblacks released defensive back Dorian Jackson a day after signing with the team. Dorian Jackson is five foot ten and weighs 182 pounds.
The 23-year-old from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, made 41 tackles (25 solo, 16 assists), one tackle for loss, one sack, one interception for nine yards, and two forced fumbles in 12 games for the Broncos in 2022.
Jackson played two seasons at Western Michigan (2021-22) with 66 tackles (44 solo, 22 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, three interceptions for 17 yards, 23 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 25 games. He was named Second Team All-MAC in 2021.
Before Western Michigan, Jackson played two seasons at St. Francis University (2018-19) with 54 tackles (39 solo, 15 assists) and 17 pass breakups in 22 games for the Red Flash. In 2019, he set a single-season school record and led the NEC with 16 pass breakups. He was named STATS FCS Sophomore Honorable Mention All-American, First Team All-ECAC, and NEC All-Conference First Team.
