The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed former Las Vegas Raiders running back Trey Ragas on Thursday. Trey Ragas is five foot ten and weighs 214 pounds.
The 26-year-old from New Orleans, Louisiana, spent the 2022 season on the Los Angeles Rams practice squad. Before the Rams, Ragas signed with the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2021. He played one game for the Raiders in 2021 against the Kansas City Chiefs with one carry for nine yards, and two catches for six yards.
Collegiately, Ragas played four seasons at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (2017-20) with 596 carries for 3,572 yards, 38 touchdowns, 49 catches for 427 yards, five touchdowns, and four kick returns for 46 yards in 49 games for the Ragin’ Cajuns. He is a three-time Third Team All-Sun Belt Conference and Second Team All-Sun Belt Conference in 2020.
