The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed former Fordham offensive lineman Phil Saleh on Thursday. Phil Saleh is six foot four and weighs 302 pounds.
The 23-year-old from Oak Park, Illinois, played 42 games in five seasons at Fordham University (2018-22) playing center. In his senior season, Saleh was part of an offensive line that helped the Rams lead the Patriot League and rank 11th in the NCAA FCS in passing offense (296.7 yards/game) and lead the League and rank 12th in the NCAA FCS in total offense (447.5 yards/game). The Rams led the league in total offensive yards per game from 2019 to 2022.
In addition, the Rams rank second in the PL and 18th in the NCAA FCS in scoring offense (33.6 points/game) and led the PL and rank 22nd in the NCAA in fewest sacks allowed (1.36/game), plus lead the League and rank ninth in the NCAA in TFLs allowed/game (3.91/game).
Saleh is a three-time First-Team All-Patriot League offensive lineman (2020-22) and earned Second-Team honors in 2019. Saleh will wear number 68 for the Roughriders.
