Highlights: IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge at Laguna Seca

The IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge were at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on Saturday afternoon in the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca 120.

Aston Martin Vantage drivers Austin McCusker and Roy van der Steur started on the pole in the GS class, while LA Honda World Racing drivers Mat Pombo and Ryan Eversley started on the pole in the TCR class.

Murillo Racing driver Christian Szymczak took over the No. 72 Mercedes-AMG with 55 minutes left and took the lead with 35 minutes left to win the race by 1.876 seconds over the Stevan McAleer in the No. 28 Porsche. In TCR, Mark Wilkins in the No. 98 Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Elantra over his teammate Robert Wickens by 1.257 seconds.

The IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge will be at Detroit Street Circuit on Saturday, June 3rd, at 4:10 pm on Peacock. Tickets for all IMSA races are available on StubHub and Viagogo.
