The Montreal Alouettes released 11 players on Wednesday. They are wide receivers Ronnie Blackmon, Trevon Bradford, Hasise Dubois, Demetris Robertson, and Donald Stewart, offensive lineman Jalen Burks, defensive linemen Akial Byers and C.J. Wright, linebackers Rashaad Harding and Jaylan Alexander, and defensive back Coney Durr.

Ronnie Blackmon is five foot eleven and weighs 185 pounds. The 26-year-old from Atlanta, Georgia, caught 30 passes for 451 yards, five touchdowns, seven kick returns for 150 yards, and 17 punt returns for 160 yards in ten games for the Wolves.

Collegiately, Blackmon began at Colorado (2017-18) on special teams with 23 kick returns for 486 yards, 34 punt returns for 329 yards, and seven tackles in 19 games for the Buffaloes.

Then, Blackmon transferred to Toledo (2019-20). He sat out in 2019 due to transferring from Colorado. In 2020, he caught 12 passes for 149 yards, two touchdowns, two kick returns for 27 yards, and 13 punt returns for 59 yards in six games for the Rockets.

After Toledo, Blackmon transferred to West Georgia (2021-22) with 72 catches for 860 yards, eight touchdowns, one carry for two yards, 24 kick returns for 510 yards, 33 punt returns for 295 yards, one touchdown, and two tackles in 22 games. He was named Second Team All-Gulf South Conference in 2022.

Trevon Bradford is five foot nine and weighs 183 pounds. The 25-year-old from Oregon City, Oregon, played six seasons at Oregon State (2016-21) with 151 catches for 1,904 yards, 14 touchdowns, 25 carries for 259 yards, one touchdown, three kick returns for 86 yards, and 24 punt returns for 233 yards in 52 games for the Beavers.

Hasise Dubois is six foot three and weighs 210 pounds. The 25-year-old from Irvington, New Jersey, played one game for the Tampa Bay Bandits (USFL) against the Birmingham Stallions in Week 10 with four catches for 36 yards in the 2022 season.

Collegiately, Dubois played four seasons at the University of Virginia (2016-19) with 151 catches for 1,859 yards and 12 touchdowns in 51 games for the Cavaliers. In his final season at Virginia, Dubois had 75 catches for 1,062 yards and six touchdowns in 14 games. His best game in 2019 came against Notre Dame with nine catches for 143 yards and one touchdown.

Demetris Robertson is six foot and weighs 185 pounds. The 26-year-old from Savannah, Georgia, signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2022 but was released on May 15th. Collegiately, Robertson began at California (2016-17) with 57 catches for 837 yards, seven touchdowns, two carries for 40 yards, one touchdown, and ten kick returns for 202 yards in 14 games for the Bears.

Then, Robertson transferred to Georgia (2018-20) with 42 catches for 443 yards, three touchdowns, ten carries for 161 yards, one touchdown, and one kick return for 24 yards in 32 games for the Bulldogs.

In 2021, Robertson transferred to Auburn with 37 catches for 489 yards, four touchdowns, five carries for 42 yards, one touchdown, and 12 punt returns for 89 yards in 12 games for the Tigers.

Donald Stewart is six foot four and weighs 210 pounds. The 25-year-old from Elizabeth, New Jersey, had 33 catches for 388 yards, and one touchdown in 14 games at Wake Forest in 2021. He helped the Demon Deacons win the ACC Atlantic Division and Gator Bowl titles.

Stewart began his collegiate career playing four seasons at Stanford University (2016-19) with 14 catches for 188 yards, and one touchdown in 32 games. In 2017, he was named a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention

In his senior season, he had one catch for 40 yards, and one touchdown in five games for the Cardinal before tearing a muscle in his hip that sidelined him for the rest of the season. After the season, Stewart transferred to Wake Forest in 2020 with five catches for 41 yards in six games.

Jalen Burks is six foot four and weighs 304 pounds. The 27-year-old from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers practice squad in 2022. In 2021, he was on the Toronto Argonauts practice squad.

Collegiately, Burks played four seasons at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (2015, 2017-19) playing 30 games at left tackle with two tackles. Burks is a two-time All-WIAC Second Team (2018-19).

Akial Byers is six foot three and weighs 288 pounds. The 24-year-old from Fayetteville, Arkansas, signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2022 but was released on August 30th. Collegiately, Byers played five seasons at Missouri (2017-21) with 79 tackles (47 solo, 32 assists), 9.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and three fumble recoveries in 53 games for the Tigers.

C.J. Wright is six foot and weighs 285 pounds. The 23-year-old from Sylvania, Georgia, signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent.

Collegiately. Wright played four seasons at Georgia Southern (2018-21) with 120 tackles (57 solo, 63 assists), 20.5 tackles, six sacks, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and seven carries for 30 yards in 44 games for the Eagles. He was named All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team in 2021.

Rashaad Harding is six foot and weighs 220 pounds. The 24-year-old from Carencro, Louisiana, was on Montreal’s practice squad in 2022.

Before Montreal, Harding played three seasons at the University of Louisiana-Monroe (2017-19) with 132 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and three pass breakups in 31 games before transferring to Liberty (2021) with 80 tackles, three sacks, and pass breakup in 13 games.

Jaylan Alexander is six foot one and weighs 240 pounds. The 23-year-old from Hoffman Estates, Illinois, attended the Chicago Bears rookie minicamp in 2022.

Collegiately, Alexander played four seasons at Purdue University (2018-21) with 226 tackles, one sack, seven pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 40 games. He is an Honorable Mention All-Big Ten in 2020. In his final season, Alexander had 113 tackles, one sack, five pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 13 games.

Coney Durr is five foot eleven and weighs 200 pounds. The 25-year-old from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was drafted by the San Antonio Brahams (XFL) in the seventh round (50th pick) in 2022. In addition, Durr attended the Chicago Bears rookie minicamp but was not signed.

Collegiately, Durr played six seasons at the University of Minnesota (2016-21) with 144 tackles, two sacks, four interceptions, one touchdown, 30 pass breakups (tied for fourth most in school history), and one fumble recovery in 55 games, of which 43 were starts. In 2017, he was granted a redshirt sophomore as he recovered from a torn ACL.

In his final season, Durr made 40 tackles, 1.5 sacks, five pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 13 games. He is a two-time All-Big Ten Honorable Mention (2019-20), a two-time Academic All-Big Ten (2017, 2020), and was invited to the 2022 Hula Bowl.
