Hamilton Tiger-Cats place DL McKinley Williams on the suspended list

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats placed defensive lineman McKinley Williams on the suspended list on Sunday. McKinley Williams is six foot four and weighs 285 pounds.

The 25-year-old from Miramar, Florida, played one game for the Tiger-Cats in 2022 with one tackle. He spent part of the season on Hamilton’s practice squad. Before signing with Hamilton, Williams attended training camp for the Indianapolis Colts.

Collegiately, Williams played six seasons at Syracuse (2016-21) with 122 tackles (70 solo, 52 assists), 21 tackles for loss, four sacks, and one fumble recovery in 61 games. In his senior year, Williams had 23 tackles and 1.5 sacks in 11 games.
