Toronto Argonauts sign former Troy wide receiver RaJae’ Johnson

The Toronto Argonauts signed former Troy wide receiver RaJae’ Johnson on Monday. RaJae’ Johnson is six foot four and weighs 220 pounds.

The 24-year-old from St. Louis, Missouri, played one season at Troy in 2022 with 36 receptions for 713 yards, seven touchdowns, and one kick return for 14 yards in 14 games for the Trojans. In addition, he helped the Trojans win the Sun Belt Conference and the Cure Bowl in 2022.

Before Troy, Johnson played one season at San Mateo College in 2017 with 56 receptions for 1,385 yards, and 14 touchdowns in 13 games for the Bulldogs. Then, he transferred to the University of Alabama-Birmingham (2019-21) with 25 receptions for 414 yards and one touchdown in 24 games for the Blazers.
