B.C. Lions add defensive lineman Alex Tchangam to the active roster

The B.C. Lions added defensive lineman Alex Tchangam to the active roster on Wednesday. He was placed on the suspended list last week.

Alex Tchangam is six foot three and weighs 245 pounds. The 26-year-old from Douala, Cameroon, signed with the Lions in November 2022. Before the Lions, Tchangam signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2022.

Collegiately, Tchangam played two seasons at Colorado (2018-19) with 24 tackles (23 solo, 1 assist), four tackles for loss, four sacks, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 21 games for the Buffalos.

Before Colorado, Tchangam played two seasons at De Anza College in Northern California for two seasons (2016-17) with 71 tackles (52 solo, 19 assists), 25.5 tackles for loss, and 11.5 sacks in 15 games for the Mountain Lions.
