The Saskatchewan Roughriders placed wide receiver Jester Weah on the retired list on Friday. Jester Weah is six foot three and weighs 209 pounds.
The 28-year-old from Minneapolis, Minnesota, made two receptions for nine yards in two games for the Roughriders in 2022. Before Saskatchewan, Weah signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He later spent time with the Washington Redskins, playing one regular season game, and the Chicago Bears.
Weah signed with the Roughriders in 2021 and played two preseason games in 2022 with three catches for 25 yards, and one touchdown. He was released in June but returned a month later.
Collegiately, Weah played four seasons at Pittsburgh (2014-17) with 77 catches for 1,570 yards, and 14 touchdowns in 42 games for the Panthers. He played in the 2018 East-West Shrine Game.
