Philadelphia Stars release defensive tackle Keyshon Camp

The Philadelphia Stars released defensive tackle Keyshon Camp on Tuesday. Keyshon Camp is six foot two and weighs 283 pounds.

The 25-year-old from Lakeland, Florida, played four games for the Stars with ten tackles (5 solo, 5 assists) and a half sack. He signed with the Stars on April 27th. Before Philadelphia, Camp played two games for the Birmingham Stallions in 2022 with six tackles, two tackles for loss, and two sacks as Birmingham won the 2022 USFL Championship. Before Birmingham, Camp went undrafted and attended the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie mini-camp.

Collegiately, Camp played five seasons at the University of Pittsburgh (2017-21) with 59 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 35 games for the Panthers. Camp was selected to play in the Tropical Bowl All-Star game and was named the Most Valuable Lineman.
