Sports. We love them. We watch them, and we discover new sports leagues or shows that entertain us. The problem is most of them are behind a paywall. Streaming services like YouTube TV, Paramount Plus, Amazon, Apple TV +, and others are either looking for or have added sports programs with the hopes that people will subscribe to them.

However, these companies have outpriced themselves to the point that many consumers can’t afford to pay for it even if they wanted to watch them. So, consumers are looking for options while trying to cut costs. Guess what! You can watch live sports programming for free and I’m going to show you where you can find them by category.

Unfortunately, some leagues that used to air live games on YouTube like the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball have moved behind a paywall but there are still live sports you can watch today. Here are the sports programming you can watch right now today.

YouTube:

YouTube is the king of streaming media. Many people spend so much time watching content from classics, comedy, independent creators, and so much more including sports. Sports leagues like IFL and GT World air live events every weekend. Here is the full breakup of these leagues and links to subscribe to their channels.

Football:

Indoor Football League: If you were a fan of the old Arena Football League. The IFL is the top indoor football league in the United States. It currently has 16 teams from the Arizona Rattlers, Jacksonville Sharks, Iowa Barnstormers, Quad City Steamwheelers, and the Green Bay Blizzard.

National Arena League: The National Arena League (NAL) is another indoor league that features teams in the East Coast and Southern United States from the Carolina Cobras., Sioux City Bandits, Omaha Beef, and more.

FloFootball: FloFootball features live college football games every Saturday during the season along with highlights and interviews.

Hockey:

New Zealand Ice Hockey League: The NZIHL is a six-team league that plays in the summer. If you want to watch more hockey. Add this to your channel lineup.

Federal Prospects Hockey League: The following teams air live games on their YouTube Channels: Blue Ridge Bobcats, Port Huron Prowlers, Columbus River Dragons, Mississippi Seawolves, Carolina Thunderbirds, Baton Rouge Zydeco, Binghamton Black Bears, Elmira River Sharks, Danbury Hat Tricks, Motor City Rockers, and Watertown Wolves.

The PWHL: The new Professional Women’s Hockey League features six teams in Toronto, Montreal, Boston, New York, Minnesota, and Ottawa.

FloHockey: FloHockey airs live hockey games from FloSports, which airs the AHL, ECHL and the United States Hockey League.

Baseball:

United Shore Professional Baseball League: The USPBL was established in 2016 and has four teams playing at Jimmy John’s Field in Utica, Michigan. This is a developmental league that helps players attempt to make it into the major leagues.

Motorsports:

USF Pro Championships: The USF Pro Championships is a developmental league for the NTT IndyCar Series that features USF2000 and USF Pro 2000 series.

Trans-Am Series: This series has been around since 1966 that features classes in the TA, TA2, XGT, SGT, and GT. Former NASCAR drivers Boris Said, Paul Menard, and Wally Dallenbach Jr. compete in this series.

The Race Channel: The Race is another terrific channel if you are into sports car racing like the Mazda MX-5 Cup series.

British Racing & Sports Car Club: The British Racing & Sports Car Club was formed in 1946 and has been one of the most influential clubs & main driving forces in domestic motor racing. They have 50 races and 25 championships under the BRSCC.

Thailand Super Series: If you are a fan of sports car racing from Thailand. This is the channel for you. They air six races a year on YouTube.

TCR UK: TCR UK is another touring car series that races in the United Kingdom. The series has been around since 2014. They feature production saloons powered by 1.75 – 2-litre turbocharged engines, cars are built by manufacturer-approved constructors to comply with carefully controlled technical regulations and FIA homologation.

TCR TV: This channel features everything from the TCR European Tour. These are the same cars that you see in other TCR-sanctioned series.

Stadium Super Trucks: If you like off-road trucks that race on street courses. This is another channel for you. Launched by former NASCAR driver Robbie Gordon, the series partners with IndyCar, NASCAR, and other motorsports leagues to race at the same tracks but they include huge jumps, crossovers, sand traps, whoop sections, and many tight corners.

SpeedTour TV: SpeedTour TV features races from the Trans-Am Series, F4 United States Championships, Sports Car Vintage Racing Association, and International GT.

Sports Car Club of America: The Sports Car Club of America features more than 110 local regions across the United States, and with over 2,000 events a year across the United States.

Sonoma Raceway: Did you know that Sonoma Raceway airs live local drag racing events every week? They do and if you love drag racing. This is another channel to add to your lineup.

Porsche Sprint Challenge North America: Do you like watching an all Porsche racing league? This channel has you covered with all Porsche Sprint Challenges that are under the IMSA banner. If you like sports car racing, this is another channel to add to your lineup.

Nürburgring: Are you a fan of Nürburgring? This channel features every race that takes place at this racetrack. Another terrific channel to add if you are a motorsports fan.

NHRA North Central Division: The NHRA North Central Division is a regional drag racing series that is sanctioned by the NHRA. Watch them race tracks in Atlanta, Las Vegas, and more.

NHRA Northeast Division Drag Racing: This channel features the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, PC Richard.com National Open Series, Summit Racing Series ET Finals, and the Summit Racing Jr Drag Racing League.

Motorsports TV: Motorsports TV features Catchup TV for replays of Speedweek programs, Live Streaming, and dedicated tabs for V8 Utes, ANDRA Drag Racing, Shannons Nationals, Australasian Superbike Championship, Hi-Tec Oils Figure 8 Drifting, V8 Superboats, and Offshore Superboats.

MotorManiaTV: MotorManiaTV covers the world of sportsman drag racing across North America. This is another great drag racing channel to add to your motorsports lineup.

International GT Series: The International GT Series features sports car races from Europe. This series was established in 2006 and you can watch them race in Belgium, Portimao, and more.

GT World: This is the motherload of sports car racing channels that is a must-add to your lineup. This channel features live races from the GT4 European Series, SRO American Series, and more.

FIA European Truck Racing Championship: Do you like watching big rig trucks race on a racetrack? Then you are in luck. This series features big rig trucks racing in Europe.

Goodwood Road & Racing: This channel features vintage race cars and if you love old-school race cars. You will love this channel.

GForceTV: This channel features local racing across Canada. If you love local racing in Canada. You are going to enjoy this channel.

FR Middle East Championship: This channel features races in the Middle East and is sanctioned by the FIA. This racing league is a development for those on the rise in their quest to be in Formula 1.

Formula Drift: Formula Drift is North America’s professional drifting championship series. As the first official series in North America, Formula Drift has taken competitive motorsports to the extreme, attracting fans and car enthusiasts from all walks of life and establishing itself as the worldwide leader for the sport.

European Le Mans Series: The European Le Mans Series (ELMS) is a motorsport endurance series inspired by 24 Hours of Le Mans. ELMS offers its competitors a full season of car racing on some of the best tracks in Europe and is split into four different categories: LMP2, LMP2 Pro/Am, LMP3, and LMGTE.

EuroFormula Open: The EuroFormula Open is another developmental league featuring live races in Europe. If you love open-wheel racing, add this to your channel list.

NASCAR Whelen European Series: This is the official NASCAR series in Europe featuring six event weekends filled with on-track action, drama, and American-style entertainment.

Asia Road Racing: This series was established in 1996 and features races in Malaysia, China, Japan, Indonesia, and, India.

Swimming:

USA Swimming: If you are a fan of USA Swimming. This channel has you covered airing live events as the athletes try to compete to get into the next Olympics.

Free streaming channels:

Many free live streaming channels like Pluto TV, Tubi, Xumo, Stirr, and more offer live sports content. Many of these channels are available on these platforms.

Stadium: Stadium is an original multi-platform sports network featuring exclusive live and on-demand games like college football events, extensive highlights, classic games, original programming, and daily live studio programming. This channel is available on Stirr, Roku, Tubi, Samsung TV Plus, Freevee, Plex, and the channel’s website.

MAVTV Select: MAVTV Select is a free 24/7 channel dedicated to all motorsports and designed to complement the existing MAVTV Motorsports Network. This channel is available on Roku, Pluto TV, Stirr, and Plex.

Racing America: Racing America airs local stock car racing in the United States. The channel is available on Pluto TV, Tubi, Plex, Xumo, Stirr, and Local Now.

Eleven Sports: If you or someone you know is a soccer fan. Eleven Sports airs live soccer games from internationally, USL League 2, NPSL, and more.

MLB.TV: Major League Baseball airs a Free Game of the Day every week if you love baseball, Download the MLB.TV and search for the Free Game of the Day below. Here is a schedule of all the upcoming free games from MLB.

NFL Channel: The NFL Channel airs free live programming and also includes classic games. One of the neat features they have is the scoreboard during the season where they show everything and include highlights. You can download the NFL App on Amazon, Roku, and other streaming services. It is also available on Pluto TV, Xumo, Tubi, and more.

ACC Digital: The ACC Digital Network airs news and replays games from all schools that are part of the Atlantic Coast Conference. You can download the app today or find them on Pluto TV, Tubi, Xumo, and more.

The T (Tennis Channel): Watch the latest news, matches, and digital series from the Tennis Channel. This is available on Stirr.

Sports.TV: Sports.TV is owned by Local Now. They have all of the sports channels in one place featuring HBCU (Historical Black College Universities) airing live college football, basketball, and more. The other channels available are Bein Sports, Boxing TV, Speedvision, Impact Wrestling, and more.

The Rich Eisen Show: The Rich Eisen Show is hosted by former ESPN broadcaster Rich Eisen and airs Monday through Friday from 12 pm to 3 pm on the Roku Channel.
