The Saskatchewan Roughriders promoted punter Adam Korsak to the active roster on Wednesday. Adam Korsak is six foot two and weighs 185 pounds.

The 25-year-old from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, was drafted by the Roughriders in the first round (3rd pick) in the 2022 CFL Global Draft. Before Saskatchewan, he attended rookie minicamps with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs.

Korsak won the Ray Guy Award in 2022 after punting the ball 75 times for 3,297 yards (44 AVG) with a long of 77 yards, two touchbacks, 35 fair catches, 32 from inside the 20-yard line, and 14 from 50-plus yards in 12 games for the Scarlet Knights.

In addition, Korsak was named Team MVP, First Team All-America (Sporting News), and Third Team All-America (Phil Steele), and was invited to the Senior Bowl in 2022.

Korsak played five seasons at Rutgers (2018-22) with 349 punts for 15,318 yards (43.9 AVG) with a long of 79 yards, seven touchbacks, 140 fair catches, 145 from inside the 20-yard line, and 63 from 50-plus yards in 58 games. In his career, Korsak earned 12 All-Big Ten honors, and eight team honors, including being named captain three times, and twice a Special Teams MVP.
