The Calgary Stampeders promoted defensive back Tae Daley to the active roster on Friday. Daley signed with the Stampeders on May 26th.

Tae Daley is five foot eleven and weighs 201 pounds. The 24-year-old from Miami, Florida, signed with the Stampeders on May 26th. Before Calgary, Daley signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2022 and played three pre-season games making 13 tackles.

Collegiately, Daley played three seasons at Vanderbilt (2017-19) with 108 tackles (74 solo, 34 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, three interceptions, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 35 games for the Commodores.

Then, Daley transferred to Virginia Tech in 2021 with 73 tackles (47 solo, 26 assists), four tackles for loss, one interception, seven pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 13 games for the Hokies, of which ten were starts. He was invited to the 2022 Tropical Bowl.
