The Roughriders will not have several starters including wide receivers Kian Schaffer-Baker (hip) and Brayden Lenius (lower back), offensive lineman Philip Blake (chest), linebacker Derrick Moncrief (shoulder), and defensive back Godfrey Onyeka (chest).

The Elks will not have offensive lineman Samuel Thomassin (calf), linebackers Eli Mencer (shoulder), and Wesly Appolon (knee), and defensive backs Marloshawn Franklin Jr. (hand) and Aaron Grymes (knee).
