Philadelphia Stars release tight end Larry Dalla Betta

The Philadelphia Stars released tight end Larry Dalla Betta on Wednesday. Larry Dalla Betta is six foot four and weighs 235 pounds.

The 24-year-old from Trinity, Florida, played one game for the Stars in 2023 against the Memphis Showboats but did not record any stats.

Before Philadelphia, he played college football at Western Kentucky in 2018 and at West Florida. He was part of the West Florida Argonauts 2019 championship team.

At Mitchell High School, Betta played quarterback, tight end, and defensive lineman. In his senior year, he completed 54 of 101 passes for 638 yards, five touchdowns, and 34 carries for 134 yards. He helped the Mustangs win the Class 6A District 6 title twice.

In 2015, Betta was named to the Pasco County All-Star Game after completing 118 of 187 passes for 1,646 yards. In addition, Betta played in the Pasco County All-Star Game.
