The Roughriders will miss several starters including running back Frankie Hickson (shoulder), wide receiver Juwan Brescacin (shoulder), defensive linemen Nicholas Dheilly (head) and DeMarcus Christmas (knee), and defensive backs Jayden Dalke (back) and Rodney Clemons (ankle). Saskatchewan offensive lineman Peter Godber (illness) is a game-time decision.

Calgary will be without wide receivers Reggie Begelton (rib) and Tyson Middlemost (hamstring), and offensive lineman Hugh Thornton (ankle). On defense, the Stampeders take a hit in the secondary with Nick Statz (foot), Shaquille St-Lot (hamstring), Titus Wall (hamstring), and Julian Charles (knee) are out for the game.
