Montreal Alouettes sign defensive back Reggie Stubblefield

The Montreal Alouettes signed defensive back Reggie Stubblefield on Monday. Reggie Stubblefield is six foot and weighs 195 pounds.

The 25-year-old from Arlington, Texas, played one preseason game for Montreal with four tackles against the Ottawa Redblacks. Before Montreal, Stubblefield was drafted by the D.C. Defenders in the second round (10th pick) in the 2022 XFL Draft.

Collegiately, Stubblefield played four seasons at Prairie View A&M (2017-20) with 117 tackles (67 solo, 50 assists), 11 tackles for loss, three interceptions for 26 yards, 19 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two blocked kicks, and two punt returns for 13 yards in 20 games for the Panthers.

Then, he transferred to Kansas State in 2021 with 34 tackles (27 solo, 7 assists), seven tackles for loss, one sack, two pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 12 games for the Wildcats. He was an Honorable Mention All-Big 12 by the Coaches in 2021.
