The Reading Royals re-signed forward Shane Sellar to a one-year contract extension through the 2023-24 season. Shane Sellar is six foot three and weighs 201 pounds.
The 26-year-old from Carlisle, Pennsylvania, collected 39 points (18 goals, 21 assists), and 33 penalty minutes in 70 games for the Royals this season. In addition, he earned three points (1 goal, 2 assists), and eight penalty minutes in 11 playoff games.
Sellar signed with the Royals as a free agent in 2022 and played three games. Before Reading, Sellar played two seasons at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute collecting 12 points (7 goals, 5 assists), and 10 penalty minutes in 39 games for the Engineers.
Before RPI (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), Sellar played three seasons at Dartmouth College earning 40 points (16 goals, 24 assists), and 30 penalty minutes in 94 games for the Big Green.
