Andretti Autosport driver Colton Herta won his second consecutive pole of the season and the eleventh of his career with a lap time of 1 minute, 6.3096 seconds at 122.589 mph. Starting next to him is Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing driver Graham Rahal with a lap time of 1 minute, 6.3528 seconds at 122.509 mph.
