Calgary Stampeders sign tight end Jahleel Billingsley

The Calgary Stampeders signed former Alabama and Texas tight end Jahleel Billingsley on Tuesday. Jahleel Billingsley is six foot four and weighs 217 pounds. The 22-year-old from Chicago, Illinois, was drafted by the San Antonio Brahmas in the 2023 XFL Rookie Draft.

Collegiately, Billingsley played three years at Alabama (2019-21) with 37 catches for 559 yards, six touchdowns, and six kick returns for 106 yards in 36 games for the Crimson Tide. He is a member of the 2020 CFP National Championship team.

After Alabama, Billingsley transferred to Texas in 2022 with three catches for 38 yards in four games for the Longhorns. He was a 2022 second-team All-Big 12 Preseason selection by Athlon Sports.
