Birmingham wide receiver Deion Cain caught three touchdowns against the Pittsburgh Maulers in the 2023 USFL Championship Game.

The Philadelphia Eagles signed wide receiver Deion Cain on Tuesday. Deion Cain is six foot two and weighs 202 pounds. The 26-year-old from Tampa, Florida, made 16 catches for 182 yards, and two touchdowns in eight games, of which five were starts for the Stallions.

In the 2023 USFL Championship Game against the Pittsburgh Maulers, Cain caught four passes for 70 yards, and three touchdowns to help the Stallions win their second straight championship 28-12. He was named the USFL Championship Game MVP.

Before Birmingham, Cain was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round (185th pick) in the 2018 NFL Draft. He tore his ACL during training camp in his rookie year. He made his NFL debut in 2019 with four catches for 52 yards in seven games, of which three were starts for the Colts. After the Colts released him on November 9, 2019, he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cain played six games, of which three were starts for the Steelers with five catches for 72 yards. The Steelers released Cain in 2021. Cain would later spend time with the Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles, and Tennessee Titans.

Collegiately, Cain played three seasons at Clemson (2015-17) with 130 catches for 2,040 yards and 20 touchdowns in 42 games for the Tigers. He tied for fourth in Clemson history in receiving touchdowns and was named Third Team All-ACC in 2017.
