The Birmingham Stallions signed offensive lineman Gray Davis on Friday. Gray Davis is six foot four and weighs 320 pounds.
The 24-year-old from Dallas, Texas, attended minicamp with the Denver Broncos in 2023. Collegiately, Davis played 12 games at Colorado State in 2022 starting at guard for the Rams. The Rams’ offense scored 13.17 points per game, averaged 285.80 yards per game, 19 touchdowns, and 3,429 yards on offense.
Before Colorado State, Davis played five seasons at Nevada (2017-21) playing 40 career games on the offensive line for the Wolf Pack. In 2020, the Wolf Pack’s offense averaged 30.8 points per game, which was ranked third in the Mountain West and 46th nationally. The offense also helped Carson Strong win the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year.
In 2021, the Wolf Pack’s offense averaged 35.69 points per game, 77.4 rushing yards per game, 347 passing yards per game, 424.4 yards per game, 5,517 total yards, and 57 touchdowns. Davis was named All-Mountain West Honorable Mention and is a member of Nevada’s 2018 Arizona Bowl championship team.
