The Pittsburgh Maulers signed offensive lineman Austin Myers on Friday. Austin Myers is six foot five and weighs 295 pounds.
The 25-year-old from Houston, Texas, played two seasons at Memphis (2021-22) playing both left and right guard for the Tigers. In 2022, the Tigers’ offensive line helped the offense rank 21st in the nation in passing offense (279.2) and 22nd in scoring offense (35.3).
The Tigers won the 2022 SERVPRO First Responder Bowl. He was named Phil Steele’s Third Team Preseason All-AAC, and Phil Steele’s Fourth Team All-AAC Team. Before Memphis, Myers played four seasons at TCU (2016-19) playing 26 games at left tackle, left guard, and right guard for the Horned Frogs.
