Philadelphia Stars sign defensive lineman Auzoyah Alufohai

The Philadelphia Stars signed defensive lineman Auzoyah Alufohai on Friday. Auzoyah Alufohai is six foot four and weighs 320 pounds.

The 26-year-old from Houston, Texas, attended the Jacksonville Jaguars training camp in 2022. He signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He spent most of the season on the practice squad.

He did play three regular season games for Houston with one tackle. In addition, Alufohai also spent time with the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Collegiately, Alufohai played three seasons at Kennesaw State (2015-17) with 47 tackles (26 solo, 21 assists), three tackles for loss, half a sack, two pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 31 games for the Owls.

In 2017, he had 31 tackles (15 solo, 16 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, two pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 14 games. He finished 15th in the Big South Conference in tackles (31) and 12th in assisted tackles (16).

Then, Alufohai transferred to West Georgia in 2019 with 31 tackles (17 solo, 14 assists), four tackles for loss, two sacks, and three forced fumbles in ten games for the Wolves.
