The Pittsburgh Maulers re-signed defensive lineman Terry Beckner on Thursday. Terry Beckner is six foot four and weighs 305 pounds.

The 26-year-old from East St. Louis, Illinois, had 23 tackles (13 solo, 10 assists), two tackles for loss, three sacks, and two forced fumbles in ten games for the Maulers in 2023. The Maulers signed Beckner as a free agent on May 6, 2022. He played three games with six tackles (4 solo, 2 assists), one tackle for loss, and one sack.

Before Pittsburgh, Beckner was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the seventh round (215th pick) in the 2019 NFL Draft. He was on Tampa Bay’s practice squad and later spent the 2020 season on the Chicago Bears practice squad.

Collegiately, Beckner played four seasons at the University of Missouri (2015-18) with 123 tackles (72 solo, 51 assists), 32 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, one interception for 49 yards, five pass breakups, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 43 games for the Tigers.

He was named Freshman All-American in 2015, two-time Team Interior Lineman of the Year in 2015 and 2016, and Second Team All-SEC in 2018.
