The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed quarterback Mike Glass III on Sunday. Mike Glass III is six foot and weighs 209 pounds.

The 25-year-old from St. Louis, Missouri, attended the Montreal Alouettes training camp in 2023. Before Montreal, he played for the Massachusetts Pirates (IFL) in 2022 completing 33 of 58 passes (56.9%) for 361 yards, eight touchdowns, two interceptions, 37 carries for 130 yards, and two touchdowns in seven games.

Collegiately, Glass III played one season at Southwestern in 2016 completing 99 of 191 passes (51.8%) for 1,399 yards, 14 touchdowns, three interceptions, 86 carries for 347 yards, and six touchdowns in ten games for the Jaguars.

He was the winner of the Southern California Football Association Offensive Player of the Year award, and the team’s MVP award after the Jaguars went 9-2 and appeared in the American Division Championship Bowl.

Then, Glass III transferred to Eastern Michigan (2018-19) completing 338 of 518 passes (65.3%) for 4,193 yards, 33 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, 189 carries for 840 yards, and 14 touchdowns in 20 games for the Eagles. In the 2018 Camellia Bowl, Glass III completed 17 of 25 passes (68%) for 204 yards, three touchdowns, and six carries for 21 yards.

His three touchdown passes tied the bowl record. In addition, he completed a 75-yard TD pass to Arthur Jackson in the first play of the third quarter against Georgia Southern, it was the second-longest TD pass in Camellia Bowl history.

In 2019, Glass III was selected to the All-MAC Second Team after completing 266 of 401 passes for 3,169 yards, 24 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 118 carries for 428 yards, and eight touchdowns in 12 games.

In the 2019 Quick Lane Bowl, Glass III completed 28 of 50 passes (56%) for 311 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, 21 carries for 83 yards, and one touchdown.
