The New Jersey Generals signed wide receiver Fabian Guerra on Tuesday. Fabian Guerra is five foot eleven and weighs 190 pounds.
The 28-year-old from Miami, Florida, played for the Massachusetts Pirates (IFL) in 2023 with ten catches for 161 yards, two touchdowns, nine kick returns for 201 yards, and one touchdown in four games.
Before Massachusetts, Guerra signed with the Carolina Cobras (NAL) in 2018. He helped the Cobras win the NAL Championship making 70 catches for 818 yards, and 16 touchdowns.
In 2019, Guerra signed with the Memphis Express (AAF) making one catch for 11 yards in two games, of which he started one against the Birmingham Iron.
In the same year, he played for the Columbus Destroyers (AFL) with 61 catches for 765 yards and 15 touchdowns. He led the AFL in All-Purpose Yards and led the league with 39 kick returns for 736 yards, and two touchdowns. He was named Co-Rookie of the Year.
After the AFL folded, Guerra signed with the Montreal Alouettes on December 4, 2019. After the regular season was canceled in 2020, Guerra re-signed with the Alouettes on December 18, 2020, but was released on April 23rd. Guerra also had a brief stint with the B.C. Lions in 2022 on their practice squad.
Collegiately, Guerra played four seasons at Fairmont State University (2013-16) with 232 catches for 2,797 yards, 19 touchdowns, one kick return for 24 yards, and three punt returns for 24 yards in 40 games for the Fighting Falcons. He was named First Team All-MEC in 2014, Third Team All-Super Region 1-BSN in 2014, and Second Team All-MEC in 2015.
