Jordan Taylor and Madison Snow take wins at VIR

GTD Pro cars taking the green flag on Sunday at Virginia International Raceway

The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship concluded the weekend at Virginia International Raceway in the Michelin GT Challenge at VIR.

The No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus of Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat started the race on the pole in GTD Pro, and the No. 1 Paul Miller Racing BMW of Madison Snow and Bryan Sellers were on the pole in GTD.

In GTD Pro, the No. 3 Corvette Racing driver of Jordan Taylor trailed Ben Barnicoat with 56 minutes left of the race. He took the lead after Barnicoat’s car stalled on pit road and took the lead. Taylor went on to help Corvette Racing win their second race of the season by 2.068 seconds over Barnicoat.

In GTD, the No. 1 Paul Miller Racing team of Madison Snow drove the team to its fifth victory of the season beating Robby Foley of the No. 96 Turner Motorsport BMW by 12.187 seconds.
