Hamilton Tiger-Cats sign offensive lineman Jordan Murray

Hamilton Tiger-Cats

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats welcomed back offensive lineman Jordan Murray on Saturday. This will be Murray’s second stint in Hamilton. He was released by the Ticats on January 15, 2022, to pursue a contract in the NFL.

Jordan Murray is six foot nine and weighs 330 pounds. The 26-year-old from Coppell, Texas, spent last season on the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts. He was released by the Colts on August 1, 2023.

Before Indianapolis, Murray attended rookie-mini camp with the Seattle Seahawks in 2019 but was not signed. Then, he played for the Generals (TSL) in 2020. On July 19, 2021, Murray signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He started nine games for the Ticats, and two playoff games playing both left and right tackle.

Collegiately, Murray played four seasons at North Texas (2015-18) playing left tackle and left guard in 44 games for the Mean Green. He is a two-time C-USA All-Conference Honorable Mention.
