The Pittsburgh Maulers re-signed linebacker Dale Warren for the 2024 season on Thursday. Dale Warren is six foot one and weighs 230 pounds.
The 27-year-old from Covington, Georgia, had 24 tackles (16 solo, 8 assists), one tackle for loss, and one fumble recovery in ten games for the Maulers in 2023. The Maulers drafted Warren in the third round (304th pick) of the 2022 USFL Supplemental Draft. In 2022, Warren had 28 tackles (20 solo, 8 assists), two tackles for loss, and two pass breakups in nine games.
Before Pittsburgh, Warren signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and attended training camp. He was released after training camp. In 2019, Warren signed with the Memphis Express (AAF). Warren did not play a game for the Express and the league folded after eight weeks.
After Memphis, Warren signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on March 12, 2019. He spent most of the season on the practice squad before playing one regular season game. In 2020, he signed with the Ottawa Redblacks but the season was canceled due to COVID-19.
Collegiately, Warren played four seasons at the University of Chattanooga-Tennessee (2014-17) with 151 tackles (104 solo, 47 assists), 26 tackles for loss, seven sacks, one interception, three pass breakups, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and one blocked kicked in 43 games for the Mocs. He was a preseason First Team All-SoCon and preseason STATS Third Team All-American in 2017.
