The Philadelphia Eagles signed punter Braden Mann to the practice squad on Monday. To make room for Mann, the Eagles released punter Arryn Siposs.

Braden Mann is five foot eleven and weighs 198 pounds. The 25-year-old from Houston, Texas, attended training camp for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023. He played two preseason games punting the ball nine times for 421 yards (46.8 AVG), with a long of 61 yards, five from inside the 20-yard line, one punt out of bounds, and two fair catches. The Steelers released him last month.

The New York Jets drafted Mann in the sixth round (191st pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played three seasons for the Jets punting the ball 206 times for 9,362 yards (45.4 AVG), with a long of 72 yards, 14 touchbacks, 60 from inside the 20-yard line, 33 out-of-bounds, 42 fair catches, and two returned for touchdowns in 43 games.

In 2022, Mann punted the ball 83 times for 3,889 yards (46.9 AVG), with a long of 72 yards, eight touchbacks, 27 inside the 20-yard line, 32 from 50 plus yards, 16 fair catches, and two returned for touchdowns in 17 games.

Collegiately, Mann played four seasons at Texas A&M (2016-19) with 109 punts for 5,328 yards (48.9 AVG), a long of 82 yards, 13 touchbacks, 22 fair catches, 46 from inside the 20-yard line, 57 from 50-plus yards, one blocked punt, 299 kickoffs for 19,012 yards (63.6%), 187 touchbacks, and eight kicks out of bounds in 52 games for the Aggies. In 2018, he was a Ray Guy Award Winner, All-American, and SEC’s Special Team’s Player of the Year.

Arryn Siposs is six foot two and weighs 212 pounds. The 30-year-old from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, punted the ball eight times for 347 yards (43.4 AVG), with a long of 54 yards, two from inside the 20-yard line, two from 50-plus yards, and two fair catches in two games for the Eagles in 2023. Before Philadelphia, Siposs signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent and spent time on their practice squad.

The Eagles signed Siposs as a free agent on January 13, 2021. He played two and half seasons in Philadelphia punting the ball 107 times for 4,768 yards (44.6 AVG), with a long of 68 yards, six touchbacks, 35 from inside the 20-yard line, nine punts out of bounds, and 25 fair catches in 32 games.

Before Philadelphia, Siposs played four years at St Kilda (AFL) with 22 goals on 195 kicks, 117 handballs, 311 disposals, 117 marks, and 42 tackles in 28 games.

After the AFL, Siposs played two seasons at Auburn (2018-19) punting the ball 117 times for 5,150 yards (44 AVG), with a long of 60 yards, seven touchbacks, 50 fair catches, 33 from inside the 20-yard line, and 21 from 50-plus yards in 26 games for the Tigers.
