Warren Newman III is five foot eight and weighs 175 pounds. The 24-year-old from New Orleans, Louisiana, made eight catches for 90 yards in six games for the Generals in 2023. The Generals signed Newman on October 6, 2022.
Before New Jersey, Newman III played two games for the Montreal Alouettes in 2021 with two kick returns for 20 yards and two punt returns for 18 yards.
Collegiately, Newman III played three seasons at Jackson State (2019-21) with 121 catches for 1,058 yards, 12 touchdowns, ten carries for 37 yards, one touchdown, four kick returns for 41 yards, 53 punt returns for 686 yards, and two touchdowns in 28 games for the Tigers.
Kalani Vakameilalo is six foot three and weighs 322 pounds. The 27-year-old from Kapolei, Hawaii, made four tackles (4 assists) in three games for the Generals in 2023. The Generals drafted Vakameilalo in the 26th round (212th pick) of the 2022 USFL Draft.
Vakameilalo made eight tackles (4 solo, 4 assists), two tackles for loss, half a sack, and one pass breakup in seven games for the Generals in 2022.
Before New Jersey, Vakameilalo signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2019 but was released after training camp. Next, Vakameilalo played for the D.C. Defenders (XFL) with two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in three games. Then, he played for the Aviators (TSL) in 2021.
Collegiately, Vakameilalo played four seasons at Oregon State (2015-18) with 75 tackles (39 solo, 36 assists), 13.5 tackles for loss, six sacks, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 46 games for the Beavers.
Anthony Blue is five foot eleven and weighs 185 pounds. The 25-year-old from Newton, South Carolina, played two games for the Generals in 2023. The Generals signed Blue as a free agent in October 2022.
Collegiately, Blue played four seasons at Newberry College (2018-21) with 180 tackles (122 solo, 58 assists), 10 tackles for loss, two sacks, nine interceptions for 111 yards, one touchdown, 41 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 39 games for the Wolves.
