The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Tuesday they have signed cornerback Tiawan Mullen to the practice squad.
Tiawan Mullen is five foot ten and weighs 180 pounds. The 23-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent on April 29, 2023.
The Chargers released him on August 29th, and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles two days later on August 31st, and was placed on the practice squad. However, the Eagles released him four days later.
Collegiately, Mullen played four seasons at Indiana (2019-22) with 144 tackles (106 solo, 38 assists), nine tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, five interceptions, 33 pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 40 games for the Hoosiers. He was named First Team All-American by Phil Steele and First Team All-Big Ten in 2020.
