The Michigan Panthers re-signed defensive back Cory Rahman for the 2024 season on Thursday.

Cory Rahman is six foot one and weighs 200 pounds. The 24-year-old from Winter Garden, Florida, made four tackles (2 solo, 2 assists), and one forced fumble in one game against the Houston Gamblers in 2023 before an injury sidelined him for the rest of the season.

The Panthers signed Rahman on May 20, 2022. He played 15 tackles (13 solo, 2 assists), one fumble recovery, two touchdowns, and one pass breakup in five games for the Panthers in 2022. Before Michigan, Rahman attended the Miami Dolphins rookie minicamp.

Collegiately, Rahman played three seasons at Southeastern University (2018-20) with 115 tackles (62 solo, 53 assists), 6.5 tackles for loss, nine interceptions for 110 yards, one touchdown, 14 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 21 games for the Fire. He was a two-time First Team All-Sun Division.

Then, Rahman transferred to Tennessee State in 2021 with 65 tackles (41 solo, 24 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, one sack, two interceptions, six pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 11 games for the Tigers.
