Jalen Hurts leads the Eagles to victory in Tampa Bay

The Philadelphia Eagles (3-0) visited Raymond James Stadium on Monday night to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1) in a battle of two undefeated teams.

Philadelphia had 472 yards on offense. Quarterback Jalen Hurts, who played the game with flu-like symptoms, completed 23 of 37 passes (62.2%) for 277 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions, ten carries for 28 yards, and one touchdown leading the Eagles to a 25-11 win over the Buccaneers. His touchdown pass came in the second quarter when he threw to Olamide Zaccheaus for 34 yards. With the win, the Eagles have tied the overall series 11-11.

Philadelphia running back D’Andre Swift had 16 carries for 130 yards, and one catch for eight yards, while Kenneth Gainwell had 14 carries for 43 yards, and one catch for five yards.

Wide receiver A.J. Brown had nine catches for 131 yards, and wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus had two catches for 58 yards and one touchdown. Philadelphia’s defense had 42 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, one fumble recovery, and two pass breakups.

Tampa Bay had 174 yards on offense. Quarterback Baker Mayfield completed 15 of 25 passes (60%) for 146 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and one carry for two yards. Running back Rachaad White had 14 carries for 38 yards and three catches for 24 yards.

Wide receiver Mike Evans made five catches for 60 yards, and one touchdown. Tampa Bay’s defense had 87 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, and three pass breakups.
