The New Orleans Breakers re-signed defensive lineman Djimon Brooks for the 2024 season on Thursday.
Djimon Brooks is six foot one and weighs 286 yards. The 25-year-old from Sandersville, Georgia, made ten tackles (1 solo, 9 assists) and two sacks, in ten games, of which four were starts for the Breakers in 2023. The Breakers signed Brooks as a free agent on May 24, 2022. He made five tackles (2 solo, 3 assists) in two games for the Breakers in 2022.
Collegiately, Brooks played five seasons at Georgia Tech (2017-21) with 87 tackles (38 solo, 49 assists), 6.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup in 35 games, of which 23 were starts for the Yellow Jackets.
