The Memphis Showboats re-signed defensive end Jordan Ferguson on Friday.
Jordan Ferguson is six foot two and weighs 271 pounds. The 24-year-old from Atlanta, Georgia, made seven tackles (3 solo, 4 assists), one tackle for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in four games for the Showboats in 2023.
The Showboats signed Ferguson as a free agent on May 25, 2023. After the season, Ferguson signed with the Seattle Seahawks. He played three preseason games with nine tackles (4 solo, 5 assists) and one sack.
Collegiately, Ferguson played five seasons at Middle Tennessee State (2017-22) with 214 tackles (115 solo, 99 assists), 46.5 tackles for loss, 22 sacks, two interceptions for five yards, nine pass breakups, five forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick in 59 games for the Blue Raiders. He was named First Team All-Conference USA in 2022.
