The B.C. Lions signed running back JaQuan Hardy to the practice squad on Monday.
JaQuan Hardy is five foot ten and weighs 225 pounds. The 25-year-old from East Cleveland, Ohio, signed with the Lions on August 8, 2023, and was placed on the practice squad.
Before B.C., Hardy signed with the Denver Broncos on August 10, 2022, and played three preseason games with 11 carries for 35 yards, and seven catches for 32 yards. He was released by the Broncos on August 29, and later tried out for the New Orleans Saints but was never offered a contract.
Before Denver, Hardy played one regular season game for the Dallas Cowboys against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 18 with three carries for 26 yards, and one touchdown. Hardy signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2021.
Collegiately, Hardy played three seasons at Tiffin University (2016-17, 2018) with 501 carries for 3,207 yards, 28 touchdowns, 38 catches for 284 yards, three touchdowns, and 60 kick returns for 27 yards in 33 games for the Dragons. He was named Second Team All-GLIAC.
