The New Jersey Generals signed wide receiver Joe Walker, defensive tackle Ethan Westbrooks, and defensive back Antonio Reed on Tuesday.

Joe Walker is six foot three and weighs 197 pounds. The 27-year-old from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, made 40 catches for 509 yards, three touchdowns, and seven kick returns for 155 yards in ten games for the Michigan Panthers in 2023.

The Panthers signed Walker as a free agent on April 22, 2022. In 2022, Walker made 26 catches for 318 yards, three touchdowns, and eight punt returns for 55 yards in nine games for the Panthers in 2022.

Before Michigan, Walker signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He would later have stints with the D.C. Defenders (XFL) and Ottawa Redblacks (CFL).

Collegiately, Walker played four seasons at Delaware (2015-18) with 41 catches for 837 yards, four touchdowns, 314 carries for 1,207 yards, six touchdowns, completed 200 of 412 passes (49%) for 2,256 yards, 8 touchdowns, 16 interceptions, and four kick returns for 84 yards in 44 games for the Blue Hens.

Ethan Westbrooks is six foot four and weighs 287 pounds. The 32-year-old from Oakland, California, made 13 tackles (9 solo, 4 assists), two tackles for loss, and two sacks in nine games for Michigan Panthers in 2023. He was named USFL Sportsman of the Year.

The Pittsburgh Maulers drafted Westbrooks in the first round (282nd pick) of the 2022 USFL Supplemental Draft. However, the Maulers released him and Westbrooks signed with the Panthers. Westbrooks made six tackles (3 solo, 3 assists), one tackle for loss, two sacks, and one pass breakup in three games for the Panthers in 2022.

Before Michigan, Westbrooks signed with the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He played five seasons for the Rams with 79 tackles (53 solo, 26 assists), 20 tackles for loss, nine sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and three pass breakups in 67 games. Westbrooks would later spend time with the New Orleans Saints, Oakland Raiders, and San Francisco 49ers.

Collegiately, Westbrooks played one season at San Joaquin Delta College in 2010 with 12 sacks. Next, he transferred to Sacramento City College (2011-12). He earned All-league honors All-conference accolades, and All-State in 2011.

Then, Westbrooks transferred to West Texas A&M in 2013 with 36 tackles (20 solo, 16 assists), 14 tackles for loss, four sacks, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 11 games for the Buffaloes.

Antonio Reed is six foot and weighs 212 pounds. The 26-year-old from Memphis, Tennessee, made 30 tackles (17 solo, 13 assists), one interception for 15 yards, and three pass breakups in seven games for the Memphis Showboats in 2023.

The Showboats (then the Tampa Bay Bandits) drafted Reed in the tenth round (352nd pick) of the 2022 USFL Supplemental Draft. In 2022, Reed made 29 tackles (23 solo, 6 assists) and five pass breakups in eight games for the Bandits.

Collegiately, Reed played four seasons at Nebraska (2015-18) with 118 tackles (79 solo, 39 assists), five tackles for loss, one sack, three interceptions, five pass breakups, and five forced fumbles in 45 games for the Cornhuskers.
