The New Orleans Breakers re-signed defensive back Michael Stevens for the 2024 season on Tuesday.

Michael Stevens is five foot eleven and weighs 190 pounds. The 27-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, made 25 tackles (17 solo, 8 assists), one forced fumble, and four pass breakups in ten games for the Breakers in 2023.

The Breakers signed Stevens as a free agent on April 1, 2022. He made 17 tackles (12 solo, 7 assists), one interception for 18 yards, and four pass breakups in nine games for the Breakers in 2022.

Before New Orleans, Stevens played for the Los Angeles Wildcats (XFL) in 2020 with 26 tackles (16 solo, 10 assists), one sack, and two interceptions in five games, of which four were starts before the XFL ceased operations due to COVID-19.

Collegiately, Stevens played four seasons at North Carolina State (2014-17) with 31 tackles (21 solo, 10 assists), one tackle for loss, half a sack, two interceptions for 28 yards, one touchdown, and 12 pass breakups in 27 games for the Wolfpack.
