The Philadelphia Stars re-signed defensive back Joshua Moon for the 2024 season on Tuesday.

Joshua Moon is six foot and weighs 200 pounds. The 26-year-old from Atlanta, Georgia, made seven tackles (3 solo, 4 assists) in seven games with the Stars in 2023.

The Stars signed Moon as a free agent on June 9, 2022. In 2022, Moon made two tackles (2 solo) in one game for the Stars in 2022.

Before Philadelphia, Moon attended training camp in 2021 for the Seattle Seahawks. The Fairburn, Georgia, native signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2019 but was released. He did not play football in 2020.

Moon played four years at Georgia Southern (2015-18) with 192 tackles (116 solo, 76 assists), 9 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, five interceptions for 56 yards, 11 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 38 games for the Eagles.

In his senior season in 2018, Moon had 71 tackles (41 solo, 30 assists), two tackles for loss, half a sack, one interception, four pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 12 games. He graduated with a degree in Sport Management.
