The Pittsburgh Maulers signed offensive lineman Brodarious Hamm and running back Trey Williams for the 2024 season on Wednesday.
Brodarious Hamm is six foot six and weighs 334 pounds. The 25-year-old from Griffin, Georgia, played nine games for the Panthers in 2023. The Panthers ranked fourth in the USFL in passing yards (1,814), average passing yards (181.4), tied third in touchdowns (14), allowed 21 sacks, seventh in rushing (857), and average rushing yards (85.7).
The Panthers signed Hamm as a free agent on May 24, 2022. He was placed on the practice squad. Collegiately, Hamm played four seasons at Auburn (2018-21) playing 34 games at right tackle for the Tigers.
Trey Williams is five foot seven and weighs 200 pounds. The 30-year-old from Spring, Texas, had 35 carries for 205 yards, two touchdowns, two catches for two yards, and one kick return for 13 yards in six games for the Generals in 2023.
The Generals drafted Williams in the 28th round (230th pick) of the 2022 USFL Draft. In 2022, had 118 carries for 579 yards, two touchdowns, 24 catches for 126 yards, and three kick returns for 63 yards in 10 games for the Generals in 2022.
Before New Jersey, Williams signed with the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent in 2015. He had stints with the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Antonio Commanders, Seattle Dragons, Calgary Stampeders, and Toronto Argonauts. Williams played six NFL games with two carries for 12 yards.
Collegiately, Williams played three seasons at Texas A&M (2012-14) with 204 carries for 1,343 yards, 18 touchdowns, 38 catches for 330 yards, one touchdown, and 70 kick returns for 1,684 yards in 36 games for the Aggies.
