The Pittsburgh Maulers signed linebacker Dorian O’Daniel on Thursday.
Dorian O’Daniel is six foot one and weighs 220 pounds. The 29-year-old from Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, played four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs with 58 tackles (37 solo, 21 assists), three tackles for loss, one sack, two fumble recoveries, and one pass breakup in 58 games, of which he started one for the Chiefs.
Kansas City drafted O’Daniel in the third round (100th pick) of the 2018 NFL Draft. He is a member of the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl LIV team.
Collegiately, O’Daniel played four seasons at Clemson (2014-17) with 206 tackles (129 solo, 77 assists), 28 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, 10 pass breakups, three interceptions for 67 yards, and two touchdowns in 56 games for the Tigers.
He was named Second Team All-American and Second Team All-ACC in 2017 and is a member of the 2016 Clemson Tigers CFP National Championship team.
