The Calgary Stampeders signed wide receiver Jose Barbon to the practice squad on Monday.
Jose Barbon is six foot and weighs 185 pounds. The 23-year-old from Havana, Cuba, and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2023. He played three preseason games with one catch for six yards.
Collegiately, Barbon played four seasons at Temple (2019-22) with 138 catches for 1,608 yards (38.3 AVG/G), four touchdowns, three carries for 34 yards, one kick return for three yards, and four punt returns for four yards in 42 games for the Owls. He earned All-AAC Honorable Mention in 2022.
