The Edmonton Elks released wide receiver Malik Flowers on Tuesday.
Malik Flowers is six foot two and weighs 202 pounds. The 27-year-old from Fontana, California, was on Edmonton’s practice squad in 2023. Before Edmonton, Flowers had brief stints with the New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks in 2023.
Collegiately, Flowers played five seasons at the University of Montana (2018-22) with 51 catches for 716 yards, four touchdowns, 16 carries for 251 yards, one touchdown, 92 kick returns for 2,659 yards, seven touchdowns, and one punt return for 11 yards in 52 games for the Grizzlies. He was named First Team All-Big Sky in the 2020-21 as a kick returner.
