Philadelphia Eagles lose their first game of the season to the Jets

The Philadelphia Eagles (5-1) suffered their first loss of the season 20-14 against the New York Jets (3-3) from MetLife Stadium on Sunday evening.

Philadelphia had 348 yards on offense. Quarterback Jalen Hurts was not sharp in this game. He completed 28 of 45 passes (62%) for 280 yards, one touchdown, three interceptions, 8 carries for 47 yards, and one touchdown. Running back D’Andre Swift had 10 carries for 18 yards.

Philadelphia wide receiver A.J. Brown made 7 catches for 131 yards, and kicker Jake Elliott missed a field goal. Philadelphia’s defense made 55 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, and 5 pass breakups.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson made 8 catches for 90 yards, and kicker Greg Zuerlein made four field goals. New York’s defense made 60 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, 12 pass breakups, and three interceptions.
