The Memphis Showboats signed defensive tackle P.J. Hall for the 2024 season on Monday.

P.J. Hall is six foot and weighs 308 pounds. The 28-year-old from Seguin, Texas, was a member of the San Antonio Brahmas (XFL) in 2023 but did not play a game. He was drafted by the Seattle Sea Dragons and made five tackles (3 solo, 2 assists) in three games. He was released by the Sea Dragons on March 30, 2023, and later signed with the Brahmas.

Before San Antonio, Hall was drafted by the Oakland Raiders second round (57th pick) of the 2018 NFL Draft. He played two seasons with the Oakland Raiders with 48 tackles (34 solo, 14 assists), eight tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two pass breakups in 30 games.

He later played one season for the Houston Texans in 2020 with 34 tackles (18 solo, 16 assists), two tackles for loss, and one sack in ten games.

Collegiately, Hall played four seasons at Sam Houston State (2014-17) with 280 tackles (159 solo, 121 assists), 85.5 tackles for loss, 36.5 sacks, four interceptions for 27 yards, 33 pass breakups, nine forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and 14 blocked kicks in 56 games for the Bearkats. He is a two-time First Team All-Southland Conference and was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2016.
